Kate likes to create an uplifting space for you to explore your relationship to the shapes that yoga offers with heart-focused intention. She teaches dynamic, flowing sequences that bring attention to the breath and connect us to our innate fluidity. There’s always encouragement to be playful and not take yourself too seriously so we can learn to soften in our practice with ease and amazement rather than judgments and frustrations. She has completed yoga teacher trainings and advanced her studies with Dharma Mittra, Jasmine Tarkeshi, and Dana Flynn. She holds her 500-hour level training with Dharma Mittra.
As an acupuncturist, Kate has completed extensive training in sports medicine and often will infuse her knowledge of functional anatomy into her classes. Her acupuncture practice is with Prema Health and she loves to find ways to weave Chinese medicine theory and yoga together for a deeper understanding of the body.
