The Psychology of Yoga

Our bodies store information that unconsciously effect the ways we have learned to respond to the world. Informed by yoga and somatic psychology, this series helps students feel more integrated, self-aware and able to self-regulate by bridging the gap between body and mind. Each week will build upon the previous.
- Week 1: Basic neurobiology, the nervous system and how it relates to your yoga practice.
- Week 2: How habitual physical and emotional patterns shape our worldview.
- Week 3: Explore your own personal, emotional anatomy through self-inquiry practices.
- Week 4: Integrate and receive. Take what we have learned and create practices that are personal and sustainable.
