Join Annie Lawrence for this special Primal Vinyasa workshop. In addition to being a source of beauty and inspiration, plants are vital to our well-being. As new buds emerge this season, prepare to venture outside by deepening your botanical knowledge and tuning yourself to the primal energy of spring’s emergence. This workshop will begin with a ceremony to connect to teachings from the landscapes surrounding us. Next, a Primal Vinyasa practice preparing us to move efficiently through natural settings. Drills will focus on proprioception, locomotion, balance, controlled transitions and moving across obstacles and variable terrain. Finally, a lecture and group activities focusing on identifying common native plants of the Pacific Northwest. There will be time for questions and answers after class.
