All The Really Cool Shit I Do – A Practical Valentines Day Love Poem

Feb82018
BlogEthicsLife and YogaPhilosophy
I want to be seen for all the really cool shit that I do.
I want someone to say “way to go!” and mean it.
I wish someone would high five and snuggle me.
I need my good deeds affirmed.
I want to see someone for all the really cool shit they do.
I want to say “way to go!” and mean it.
I wish for someone to high five and snuggle.
I need to affirm the good deeds of others.
I want someone to tangle up and wrestle in love with.
Perhaps I need to look for the really cool shit others do;
to tell them “way to go!, and mean it.
So my wish for someone to high five and snuggle may come true.
Maybe I should affirm the good deeds of others.
Maybe then my need to be affirmed may be met.
And someone may tell me “way to go!” and mean it.
And my wish to be high-fived and snuggled may come true.
And maybe then, just maybe, I’ll be seen for all the really cool shit I do.

COVID-19

As of Tuesday, March 17, the doors of Yoga Union Community Wellness Center will be closed. This marks the first closing for anything other than holidays since we opened over 20 years ago. Needless to say, our hearts are heavy from having to make this decision. It is not something we are choosing, but rather something we feel we need to do in order to meet the demands we are facing.

During this time period we’ll be hosting virtual classes with our world class teachers. Learn more.
